On June 14, 2025, FAME Hospital will host its second annual charity Half-Marathon, and this year’s theme is “Run for Safe Delivery.” Set in the heart of Karatu, this event is more than just a race, it’s a community effort to raise awareness and support for maternal and pediatric care in rural northern Tanzania. When mothers deliver safely, entire communities thrive. That’s why this year’s run focuses on expanding access to high-quality maternal healthcare for women and families who need it most.
